摊铺前应做好的准备工作首先是熨平板的预热和保温：

（1）作业前20～40min，应对熨平板进行预热，使其接近混合料的温度；
（2）因故停止作业时，需使用预热系统进行保温，防止熨平板冷却；
（3）用燃气进行预热熨平板时，应注意控制热量，防止局部过热而使熨平板变形。加热时，应采用间歇燃烧多次加热操作法，使其靠自身热传导均匀预热。有热风循环系统的，可采用点火燃烧和熄火热风循环交替进行加热。无论采用何种方式，每次点燃时间均不得大于10min；
（4）没有燃烧加热装置的，应逐个分别点燃@700618；
（5）预热时，要加强对燃烧情况的观察，若火焰熄灭，应即关闭燃气开关，找出起因，排除故障，并待燃气排尽后方可重新点燃；
（6）严禁在加热过程中，熨平板处于无人看管状态和向摊铺机各部喷油清洗。
